From The University of Tulsa
Students at The University of Tulsa, a small, private research university, find it to be the total package. It combines "the friendly environment of a smaller university and the academic, employment, extracurricular, and service opportunities of a larger university. TU also does a tremendous job of fostering an atmosphere that's conducive to collaboration and growth.
All undergraduates, no matter their major, benefit from being assigned a student success coach who will help them transition to TU. Success coaches check in with new students at least once a month and connect them with other offices on campus who can assist with job or internship placement, financial wellness, counseling services or academic advisors. Students at TU are supported from the moment they arrive on campus until the day they graduate and beyond.

My experience at the University of Tulsa has been incredible thus far! This is a university that truly cares about its students and shows it. Everyone on campus -- staff and students alike -- is always open and willing to help you out the best they can and there are so many events and opportunities to interact with your peers. The atmosphere on campus couldn't possibly be any better! And on top of that, the academics are amazing! The professors really put in the work to help their students to succeed and there are so many resources on campus for anyone who is struggling academically. I truly couldn't recommend the University of Tulsa enough!

Rating 4 out of 5
The University of Tulsa is the most prestigious university in the state of Oklahoma.
Its programs in petroleum engineering, and law are in invariably in the top five programs ranked by US news.
My major was psychology, but this was 20 years ago.
The only negative I will state about the faculty of psychology, and this relates in terms of being admitted as a PhD student and clinical psychology, is that the faculty usually just picks one student that has a commensurate research interest.
So.. it can be very difficult to be admitted.
In general, I would highly recommend TU to anyone!

Overall, my experience with the University of Tulsa has been very good. I am involved in athletics on the pom squad and in greek life and it has been a good community thus far. I really like all the opportunities TU students receive and the amount of resources available to be successful. Change I would like to see is better restaurants in our union, but otherwise I have no complaints!
