Why can’t people ever pronounce/spell my name correctly?
I hardly ever meet people who know the pronunciation or spelling of my name because it’s so uncommon.
While I think that that might not be so bad as long as they don’t make fun of how rare my name is, I honestly wish they would get to know(or ‘learn to say/pronounce’) it.
A lot of the corrections are subjective, but if I were to say this out loud, that’s how I would do it
Hope this helps :)

Why can’t anyone correctly say or spell my name? Hardly anyone gets (get is a way to combine certain previously stated verbs together in one word). If they genuinely have a hard time with it, I understand. I want people to take the time to learn it.
Note: if you are in America, your name will be americanized. All American names are Americanized versions of names originally from elsewhere. Please do not be offended if people simply americanize your name to something more fitting in our language and culture. It is actually a method of endearment and welcoming into our culture. Since noone is actually from here, it is a common topic of conversation to discuss your original name versus your americanized one. This even happens to people from other english speaking countries IE Aethelred (british last name) became Allred (American)

SWhat makes my name hard to read is kanji. So far, most of the Americans can call my name correctly because they read it in the Roman alphabet, while Japanese people read it in kanji. I've told by many Japanese people that the kanji of my name is so hard to read 😂
